History

The core team consists of experts in secure software engineering who executed multiple consulting projects for Fortune-500 clients to introduce application security practices and DevSecOps processes. In these project assignments it became apparent that writing custom code to integrate application security testing tools with the existing engineering environment and properly manage security defects is not a viable option. The team started working on an integrated DevSecOps platform in 2017. MAVERIX was launched in 2019 and found great appreciation from software engineering and application security professionals.
